Last night was my last chorus concert. The last night of singing in robes, dying of heat under the bright lights, and performing with this group of people. I didn't think I would get emotional on stage...but I couldn't help it. It's been an amazing 4 years, my voice and music skills have improved so much but most importantly chorus became my extended family. Even though somedays singing through the set or a corny song was the last thing I wanted to do, it was all worth it. I'm really going to miss performing with this group of people.
Royal Timbres (my A Cappella group) became such an important part of my high school experience. Being apart of this group for the last few years has been so memorable. The music we make is magical and I'm truly going to miss being apart of it. I love them so much.
For my last concert I wore this black dress from Charlotte Rouse. I love how perfectly this fit and the high collar on the dress. The best part is that this dress was on sale for only $7!
I am so excited for everything that I will experience after high school, but it is still so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. I am so thankful for all the memories I made, my amazing teachers, and the experiences that I've had. Music has been in my life for as long as I can remember and I hope that I can continue to perform and do what I love. xoxo
