September 18th 2019 - I was blessed to celebrate my 20th birthday this past week. It's still a little surreal that I am really twenty now, the teens years are done and I am entering a new chapter of my life. I am growing older and wiser but at the same time I know I am only at the beginning of a new path in which I will make many mistakes along the way. Nevertheless, I am so excited for this journey! Most birthdays, I don't feel much different....but this time I kind of do. I feel ready for a new year, a new start, and to get to know myself better. I hope to be bolder, braver and unapologetic about it all. To be simply me and to accept all the imperfections that come along with that. I am full of gratitude for two decades of a beautiful life and above all I am truly blessed!
As far as celebrating my birthday this year, it fell on a Wednesday which is a day I have 4 lectures and 1 lab/discussion so it was a very busy day. But as always I made the best of it! I wore this dress that I bought at a consignment store, it was such an amazing find! I added my favorite nude wedges and wore some glowing makeup. After my classes, I had a quick birthday photoshoot. As you guys know I love photos and these turned out so beautiful!
At the end of the day, my mom surprised me by driving up to see me. We had a nice dinner with my aunt and I blew out my cute pink ice cream cake. It meant so much to still have a little celebration even with a busy day of classes.

Once the weekend came, I got ready for birthday celebration #2. My mom, aunt, and brothers enjoyed a day at Tyson's Galleria and Corner. I wore this white blouse from ASOS paired with my jeans from T's Closet. I love how white and ripped jeans look together. To finish off the look, I added some white heels...because it is my birthday after all!
The whole look
Twenty years old and living life to the fullest! I hope you guys enjoyed these pictures from my 20th birthday. And THANK YOU to everyone for all the birthday wishes, it honestly made my heart so warm and I felt so loved. It's kind of crazy to think that I was just 15 when StylebyKye.com was founded, thank you to everyone who has been following me along on my journey! I am excited for all that is to come!
Love you all,
xoxoxo,
Kye
