Yellow is definitely the color of this summer! It is bright, beautiful, and fun! I spent this day having fun with my best friends Fleur and Sara in Philipsburg (the capital of the Dutch side of St. Maarten) We had a great time walking around, shopping, and taking lots of pics.

As soon as I tried on this off the shoulder yellow top in Pimkie (a European brand store-they carry super cute clothing) I automatically thought of Beyonce's Hold Up video. I love how carefree she was in that video and thats exactly how this color makes me feel. I took her look as inspiration and tried to recreate her makeup: flawless base, nude lips, and brown smokey eyes. Since I got my blonde braids I've gotten a lot of comments that I resembled Beyoncé (because she often rocks blonde braids) so it was fun to take inspiration from her looks.

We ended the day by watching this perfect sunset as my friend did a photoshoot with one of the best photographers on the island!
