Spirit of Baltimore

"Work hard, play hard" they say. This past Friday, my program had a dinner on the Spirit of Baltimore. It was a great way to end the work week and hang out with the other students of my program. Lucky for us, the weather was absolutely beautiful! It was really nice to get out of the lab and explore Baltimore. The cruise included a buffet dinner, drinks, music, and games. People were on the boat to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette parties, and more so I recommend it for any special event. The staff was great, the food was good, and overall it was a beautiful experience!

We started the cruise with a free glass of champagne, but since I'm under 21 I had a glass of sparkling cider. Next we had dinner which was served buffet style.

Dinner was a buffet selection with options such as chicken, fish, and beef with a salad bar. Once dinner was done we headed to the top of the ship to enjoy the view and some games, and of course take some pictures:

For the dinner cruise, I wore this cobalt cruise dress from Alloy Apparel that I got a few years ago but this was my first time wearing it. This dress is a gorgeous color, it's loose fitting at the waist and has a beautiful ruffling at the bottom. I added my sapphire ring and sparkly earrings to match the look.

Photo credits to Marquiss, thank you for these beautiful pictures. We caught the perfect moment where the light was shining just right.

Which photo is your favorite? Let me know!

Stopping for a quick couples selfie, we were matching with out blue outfits

After spending some time chatting and playing games with everyone, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset:

Cheers to the weekend!

Baltimore is a beautiful city and the Inner Harbor has so many activities, restaurants, shopping and more to enjoy. The Spirit of Baltimore was one of those great experiences and I am so glad I got to be on board. I love that my program hosted this dinner cruise for us and I enjoyed getting to know my peers more and having some fun outside of the research. I hope you all enjoyed the pictures!

xoxo,

Kye
